Embarking on a musical journey that began at the age of 5, Chris Cadenhead demonstrated an innate connection with music from the earliest stages of his life. Born in Hollywood, Florida, and raised in thediverse musical landscapes of Miami and Alabama, he started with the piano, followed by picking up the guitar at 11 and delving into orchestral percussion at 13. His formative years laid the foundation for a

multi-instrumentalist whose skills would captivate audiences worldwide.

 

As a seasoned performer, Chris Cadenhead has been touring the world since the age of 17, gracing stages with musical luminaries like Justin Bieber, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Lalah Hathaway, Robert Glasper, Don Cheadle, Kamasi Washington, and Eric Benet, to name a few. His performances span iconic venues globally, including The Sporting Monte Carlo, the Grand Place in Brussels, Belgium, the F1 race in Singapore, the Java Jazz Festival in Malaysia, and the Cotton Club in Tokyo. Cadenhead’s live shows not only showcase his technical prowess but also forge a profound emotional connection with the audience, reflecting a deep resonance that transcends cultural boundaries.

 

 

As the musical director for KC & the Sunshine Band and a current member of The Jacksons’ touring ensemble, Cadenhead’s role extends beyond his solo performances.

 

Notable recent collaborations include a momentous performance at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts with Leslie Odom Jr., the Broadway star known for his role as Aaron Burr in “Hamilton.” This synergy extends beyond singular performances, as Cadenhead consistently tours with Odom, bringing their musical finesse to concert halls worldwide and captivating audiences with Symphony orchestras across the globe.

 

In addition to his live performances and touring commitments, Cadenhead is a prolific multi-instrumentalist in the studio, contributing his musical genius to various TV and film productions. His diversetalents enrich the sonic landscape of visual storytelling. As a multi-instrumentalist and composer, Cadenhead’s contribution to television soundtracks, including shows like E! True Hollywood Story and Keeping Up With The Kardashians, resonates with the diverse musical traditions shaping his artistic identity.

 

His guitar and bass skills, influenced by a broad range of sounds, add a distinctive layer to the visual narratives he enhances.

 

In the studio, he has left his mark as a producer, collaborating with industry heavyweights such asDiddy, Ludacris, CeeLo, and others. Notably, he showcased his skills on the Fender Rhodes in Terrace Martin’s Grammy-Nominated album “Velvet Portraits.” Additionally,Cadenhead’s debut as a jazz pianist and vocalist, “After Hours,” stands as a masterpiece that mirrors a unique fusion of tranquility and sophistication, solidifying his presence in this creative realm.

 

Currently residing in Las Vegas after seven years in Los Angeles, Chris Cadenhead continues tomake waves, imploring his music direction and jazz improvising prowess performing at the prestigious 1950’s-inspired supper club Delilah inside the exclusive Tower Suites enclave at Wynn Las Vegas. His unique and fresh arrangements of popular songs elevate the experience for locals and visitors alike, contributing to the ever-evolving tapestry of the music scene.
