Eddie Stone is a seasoned singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose soulful Hammond organ, piano, guitar work, and vocals have made him a standout in the Southern rock world. A Macon, Georgia-area native, founding member of the internationally recognized band Doc Holliday, and current member of Wet Willie, Eddie has toured major arenas and festivals across the U.S. and Europe, including Madison Square Garden and Sweden Rock Festival, sharing stages and bills with legendary acts including Black Sabbath, Gregg Allman, Stevie Ray Vaughan, April Wine, Loverboy, Nazareth, Scorpions, and more.

A Hammond organ player since the late 1960s, Eddie brings a depth, feel, and authenticity to the instrument that can only come from decades of experience on stage and in the studio. With Doc Holliday, Eddie helped the band build a strong following throughout Europe and Scandinavia, achieving U.S. Billboard Top 30 records and Top 10 European chart success across more than 20 album releases.

His work beyond Doc Holliday includes two solo albums, which he toured in support of, along with studio collaborations with many artists, including Grinderswitch, with whom he also toured. Eddie remains active in several influential Southern rock circles, including long-running roles with Stillwater and Wet Willie, known for multiple hits including the 1974 Billboard Top Ten single “Keep On Smilin’.” He also joins the Jimmy Hall Band for select shows.

While Eddie’s career spans guitar, songwriting, vocals, touring, and extensive studio credits, his powerhouse musicianship on Hammond organ and piano remains central to his sound. His playing brings dimension, energy, soul, and decades of musical history to every performance.
