Jonathan Brown is a native of Nashville Tennessee and currently resides in Richmond Virginia. At the age of 6 years old he began in music by playing the Hammond Organ for his father Larry Brown who was the Pastor of Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ. Through musical mentoring from his father, Jonathan Brown quickly began to develop a signature sound with a passion for music. By the age of 14, he was appointed the state organist for the Tennessee 2nd Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ and began traveling as the music director the late Bishop H. Jenkins Bell.


Jonathan Brown is the CEO of Brown House Music Company. He is also the author of the book “FLAT” Why Music Fails in Church and the Visionary for the Integrity Music Conference! Jonathan Brown is sought out by many individuals for his life changing workshops and Master Class developing singers, musicians, and leaders through next level training. His revolutionary concepts challenge the standard of music in church today. With controversial topics like “Why the World Offers More Than the Church” and “Gifted People are the most Dangerous People in Church”, Jonathan Brown deals with the dysfunctional system of music in church today. His passion for musical excellence has taken him all over the United States including Alaska sharing his message through what many now know as “JBrowniePoints”.

 

As a Music Director, Jonathan Brown has worked with National Recording artists such as James Moore, Timothy Wright, Norman Hutchins, Tramaine Hawkins, The Clark Sisters, Wess Morgan, LeAndria Johnson, Jessie Stevenson, and John P. Kee, to name a few. He has also appeared on both TBN and the Word Network television programs. Throughout his years of working in music ministry leadership, Jonathan Brown has worked with Kingdom leaders such as Dr. Juanita Bynum, Dr. Judy Hines, Dr. Todd Hall, Dr. Rod Parsley, Dr. Mike Murdock, Co-Pastor Susie Owens, Dr. Brian J. Mosley, and Prophet Gary Sprewell. With over 25 years of musical experience in ministry, Jonathan Brown will challenge every traditional belief you have about music and ministry! His purpose is to serves as a solid bridge between leaders and musically gifted individuals for excellence in business and music development.
