John ‘JT’ Thomas began his musical career in the Mojave desert as a member of Captain Beefheart’s Magic Band. He continued to record with Los Angeles’ own Sparks during the 80’s and 90’s. He has toured playing keys with Tracy Chapman, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Brown, and has been a member of Bruce Hornsby’s band, playing the Hammond organ, since 1990.
