Loren Gold is a Los Angeles-based keyboardist, vocalist and songwriter who has worked extensively with various pop, rock, and soul acts. Classically trained from age seven, Gold went on to study ragtime, blues, rock, gospel, and R&B. After many years writing, recording and performing in original bands, he started touring with various artists.
In 2009, Gold began touring with Roger Daltrey, and in 2012 became the keyboardist and vocalist for The Who. Loren has also worked with Kenny Loggins, Natalie Maines (Dixie Chicks), and Don Felder (Eagles), among others. Gold has served as Musical Director for younger artists, such as Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and American Idol winner Taylor Hicks. In addition to touring and session work, Loren composes original music for feature films, television, and has released two instructional books through Alfred Music Publishing.
