For more than 30 years, Marcus Sparks has shared his skill and musicianship as an organist and keyboardist across musical genres, for acclaimed artists and speakers in many countries. His career began at age 10 in church playing gospel music during Vacation Bible School. Time and opportunity gave him new musical experiences at gospel conferences and in jazz, soul, and rhythm and blues venues.

Marcus has played for and shared the stage with many Gospel artists, including Darwin Hobbs, Juanita Bynum, Kirk Franklin, Rodney Bryant, V Michael Mckay, Yolanda Adams, John P. Kee, Shirley Caesar, Calvin Bernard Rhone, Willie Bonds, Moses Tyson, Wess Morgan, Lamar Campbell, and many more. He was featured at the Independent Authors’ Showcase in Dallas, Texas.

Marcus’ experience also includes music administration. When he was not on tour, Marcus served in local churches as the Music Director, Minister and Assistant Minister of Music and a leader of community choirs and musical recordings. For his personal projects, Marcus wrote and produced two independent CD projects, The Eleventh Hour and Marcus Sparks In Worship.

Marcus Sparks is a songwriter, producer and CEO of SCE Music. His desire is to restore the art of organ playing by teaching young musicians. Marcus Sparks’ style of music moves his listeners, often creating peace in their hearts and atmospheres. His unique chord structures enhance all types of music.

Currently, Marcus plays with a Dallas, Texas smooth jazz band called Alpha Groove and serves as the Minister of Music at True Worship House of Refuge Church in Rowlett, Texas. When he is not traveling, Marcus enjoys quality time with his wife, children and grandson.
