Tom Plays the XK-5

Voted one of the top ten keyboardists by the PROG Magazine readers poll, Tom Brislin has been established as one of the most compelling and versatile musicians in progressive rock today. The New Jersey native joined the multi-platinum band KANSAS in 2019. Starting in 2023 for the band’s 50th Anniversary Tour, he was also named the band’s Musical Director. As an artist, Tom fronted the modern rock band Spiraling, writing and producing several independent albums throughout the 1990s and 2000s. In 2012 he wrote and produced his first solo album, Hurry Up and Smell the Roses. He was a member of the progressive supergroup The Sea Within, who released their self-titled album in 2018 on the Inside Out/Sony Music label. Tom continues to write and perform as a solo artist, and can be seen touring with Kansas on their 50th Anniversary Tour and beyond.
